Mya readies for 'Love'

While in the studio working on her forthcoming album, pop/R&B songstress Mya took the time to show SoundCheck a little love:



Accompanied by producer Junior Sanchez, duo have already completed 10 tracks for her next studio effort. Think electro-dance-rock vibe. (Release date has not yet been set.)

Says Mya, "Working with Junior Sanchez is an incredibly creative experience - he and his team are true musicians, and we have been having so much fun in the studio - the sound is brand new and completely ferosh."

Known for hits including "Fallen," "Ghetto Superstar," "Case of the Ex" and of course her perf with Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil' Kim and Missy Elliott on "Lady Marmalade" (not to mention her highly acclaimed turn on "Dancing with the Stars"), the songstress is also gearing up for the launch of a brand new single "Love Is the Answer," with Cedric Gervais. Track is due out next month and is slated to appear on Gervais' forthcoming album "Miamication" (Ultra Records).
