Video: Elvis Presley - 'Suspicious Minds' from 'Viva Elvis by Cirque du Soleil'

Viva_elvis

Very cool stuff here, and in case you didn't know, 'Viva Elvis by Cirque du Soleil' is playing at the Aria in Vegas - show is a tribute to the King, featuring all his music (and original vocals) reimagined.

When working on the music for 'Viva Elvis,' producer/arranger Erich van Tourneau -- aided by Hugo Bombardier, Assistant Producer and Assistant Arranger -- spent more than 3,000 hours reviewing countless albums, films, concert recordings, interviews and home recordings of Elvis. More than 17,000 samples of Elvis’ songs -- the raw material for the show -- were made during the process.

Click here for more info about the show - and make sure to check out the 'Viva Elvis' album in iTunes. First single is 'Suspicios Minds,' check out the vid:

Video: Scala & Kolacny Brothers - 'RainTears'

If you've been exposed to mainstream media in the last few months, you may not even realize it, but you've already heard the music of Scala & Kolacny Brothers - the all-female Belgian girls choir. Their version of Radiohead's 'Creep' was featured in the pic 'The Social Network.'

While much of their music has been covers (everything from Metallica and Coldplay to Alanis and Depeche), they've released an original song, 'RainTears.'

Track is featured on their new EP 'Dawn' (click here to check it out in iTunes), which also features their cover of Nirvana's 'Spells Like Teen Spirit,' the Police's 'Every Breath You Take' and more. Check out the 'RainTears' vid:

Andy Grammer, Vevo release interactive video 'Keep Your Head Up'

Grammer_andy This is a brilliant concept - not only are you able to choose how this video turns out via a 'Choose Your Own Adventure'-style format, chances are, for those who dig the track, they will listen to it again (and again) to see what other outcomes exist.

Not to mention, who actually watches a video the whole way through online? Well, I watched this one in its entirety just out of curiosity to see what would happen next. Great exposure for a new artist - even better opportunity for product placement.

As the vid progresses, you'll see two options pop up occasionally, click whichever you like - and it alters how the story moves along. (You can choose from hundreds of potential scenes and outcomes. One of the options even features 'Office' star Rainn Wilson.)

Song from the S-Curve recording artist Andy Grammer is currently up in iTunes. Oh, and by the way, nice track - and very cool venture from Vevo. Vid below may take a few seconds to load - check it out:

Watch New Day & Night Versions of RIHANNA's 'Who's That Chick' Vid Simultaneously

Rihanna_late_night_doritos Rihanna has embarked upon a very innovative (and pretty darn cool) campaign, collaborating with Doritos...not the first sponsorship one may automatically associate with the pop chanteuse, but most definitely a creative one.

Consumers who purchase specially marked bags of 'Late Night' Doritos can go to their computer, visit the Doritos official site, and assuming they have a Webcam, are able to use the code on the bag to gain access to some exclusive content via the site.

While Rihanna is the 'Late Night' headliner, the promo also features artists including Canada's Down with Webster, the UK's Professor Green, Turkey's Mor Ve Otesi, Brazil's Sensacional Orchestra Sonora and South Africa's Teargas.

To support the campaign, Rihanna has recorded two videos for new track 'Who's That Chick,' exclusively for Doritos - a Day and Night version. (Granted, the singer's forthcoming album 'Loud' is due out Nov. 16, so I wouldn't be shocked to see the track appear there as well). Either way, enjoy the 'Who's That Chick' Day-Night experience:
